During ICMYO 2010 the participating organisations drafted the statement of the NGO Global Meeting, part of the World Youth Conference in Mexico, to take place in Mexico later the same year. The organisations also discussed the relations to the World Bank, with a particular attention to Youth Employment. Further the meeting focussed on the work in the Alliance of Civilizations Youth Advisory Committee. Following up on the work of ICMYO 2009 the internal guidelines for the participation in ICMYO were finally adopted.
The meeting was hosted by the Finnish Youth Cooperation Allianssi in cooperation with the Finnish Ministry and Education and was greeted by Ms Anke Green from the UN Programme on Youth.
